About the MIMG Undergraduate Poster Symposium

The Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics (MIMG) is proud to host the MIMG Undergraduate Poster Symposium every quarter. This event showcases and celebrates the incredible research conducted by MIMG undergraduates.

When and Where

The Symposium typically takes place on Fridays of Week 10 during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on UCLA’s campus.

Who Presents

Presenters include MIMG Path 1 students, Path 2 students, and MIMG Fellowship recipients. Presenting at this event is limited to MIMG majors, and the department cannot accommodate requests to present from students who are not in the major.

Highlights

All members of the MIMG community are invited and encouraged to attend. The Symposium is a great opportunity to:

  • Connect with students, faculty, and researchers.
  • Explore a wide range of research topics and current work happening on campus.
  • Support student presenters and celebrate their accomplishments.
  • Enjoy refreshments (free snacks while supplies last).

If participants or attendees require any accommodations for the Symposium or have any questions, please email MIMG Advisors (undergrad@microbio.ucla.edu) with your UCLA UID.
