Postdoctoral Researcher Jose Delgado named a recipient of the 2025 Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program (PDEP)

Congratulations to MIMG Postdoctoral Researcher Jose Delgado from Lena Pernas’s lab for being named a recipient of the 2025 Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program (PDEP) by The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF). This year, BWF selected 30 exceptional postdoctoral researchers for the PDEP, including five selected through a partnership with the Charles H. Revson Foundation.

The PDEP offers vital support during a crucial stage in a scientist’s career. 

Jose expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am honored to receive the BWF Postdoctoral Diversity Enrichment Program award, which supports the research and professional development of scientists from underrepresented backgrounds. This support will advance my work in investigating how mitochondria shape immune responses to infection and will contribute to my growth as an inclusive and impactful scientific leader.”
