Dr. Maureen Su’s Interdisciplinary Research with IRAEs
A study led by researchers at the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center, including MIMG Faculty member Dr. Maureen Su, revealed possible therapeutic targets and mechanisms for people who experience immune-related adverse events (IRAEs). By understanding how autoimmune toxicities develop in patients treated with cancer immunotherapy, researchers can develop strategies to reduce these side effects, thus making treatment safer.
